I personally think he is a genius, and it was a shame the Doors movie made him look like a drunken fool. For a better look into the real him, I suggest reading the book by linda ashcroft. Very interesting.

i think jim morrison was a good person and not the image the doors movie made him to be. i have a HUGE JIM MORRISION poster i also have 2 shirts with him on it,

I own Riders on the Storm by John Densmore. It is a really good read, but you have to keep in mind that John and Jim didn't really get along. So its a different point of view rather than someone who was a fan of Jim. But if haven't read it and you are a Morrison fan, that I defenitly recommend it.

I love Jim, he was an aptsolute genius with an IQ of 141!! The movie does make him out to be a drunken fool, but its still a pretty good flick. If you want to get the real story there are many books showing him in a better light (I've pretty much read every book about him). From everything that I have read about him, he is defenitly someone that I would chill with. But he is my all-time favorite artist, poet, musician or whatever, so I guess I'm a little partial to him.

the best one is a toss up between No One Here Gets Out Alive or Riders On The Storm. Both are excellent reads

I LIKE JIM BECAUSE HE WAS A LOT OF THINGS A POET A ROCK STAR A SINGER.HE PROBLY HAD A LOT OF FIRENDS. HE WAS AN OK GUY BUT WHEN HE DRINK BAD STUFF HAPPENEND. HE COULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING HE WANTED. SOMETIMES I WISH I WOULD HAVE MET HIM SO WOULD HAVE CHILLED AND SMOKED POT TOGETHER LOL
