Eric Clapton has created some amazing music over the years in many major forms - Cream, Derek and the Dominoes, and solo, and earlier in his career he played with the Yardbirds and The Bluesbreakers. In which of these do you think he produced his greatest work in? Its a tough one indeed.
He created amazing songs like Layla and Bell Bottom Blues during his time with Derek and the Dominoes, but during Cream he produced excellent songs like White Room, Sunshine of Your Love and Crossroads, and he also has some great solo work, like Bad Love, Wonderful Tonight and Let It Grow. Your thoughts?

I say Cream too! there's a song of them I like to suggest to my friends, this song is "Strange Brew". I think this song is soooooooooooooooooooooo underrated, really! I love the main riff behind the whole song, Jack Bruce's bass line is just too much, Baker's style is insane and Clapton's work there is perfect, like a psychedelic wave. God I love this band!
I also love his other "phases" but I agree with John about playing with musicians as talented as him, they were the first super trio, and were absolutely awesome!
