Yes, I saw there was already a discussion thread about this - sort of - in "who is your favorite Beatle", but my favorite Beatle deserved his own thread (or so I believe).

Wonderful! Everyone has their favorite Beatle. Mine has always been John. Like you, I love all 4. But John is just a little bit higher on that pedestal. Since day one. Saw them on the Ed Sullivan Show and that was it. He stole my heart.
