Quick concert security story ... You have to start somewhere :)

1978 I was called to work security at a bar for this up and coming rock and roller. The bar was the Stage One on transit road in Buffalo and was owned by Harvey Weinstein (now owner of Merrimac Productions - Hollywood movie producer).

Well we had 11 security guys and the bar could hold about 400 patrons. There was a door charge of something like 3 or 4 bucks to get in.   ONLY 7 PEOPLE SHOWED UP FOR THE SHOW!!

So we had 11 guys working security for 7 people in the crowd. TOO FUNNY.

Well this bar had a rather small stage and there were about 5 or 6 guys in the band. The show starts and the lead singer drives about 10 feet on the stage on a harley and the bike falls over on top of him. The band members quickly ot the bike off the poor guy and he went on with the show for the 7 paying guests.

Oh yeah, the name of the guy ..... "Johnny Cougar" when he was just starting :)
