The band Detroit featured Steve Hunter on lead guitar. On this their only album they also covered Lou Reed's Rock and Roll. Lou Reed liked it so much he asked Steve Hunter to join his band, the album Rock N Roll Animal features him. He was also in Alice Cooper's first band after he disbanded the original "Alice Cooper Band".
