I remember seeing that when it first aired.  Great stuff!

I've Got This 45 Record I Play Around Christmas Time.....It's The Eagles Version of "PLEASE COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS" and on the B-Side is the song "FUNKY NEW YEAR"

I've Also Picked Up A Couple Christmas Blues CD's From Alligator Records With Alot of BLUES Artist Doing Christmas Songs.....BLUES Style....Realy Some Great Music for The Holidays....

Happy x Mas war is over (John Lennon)  always makes me reflect on the years events, and I love it. Jingle Bell Rock -Bobby Helms is my feel good "get in the christmas spirit" mood song

Christmas Song by Jethro Tull. Let's face it, most Christmas songs, like charity songs, are pretty naff.

I Like this song because it's cynical, ironic and very tongue in cheek. "Hey! Santa. Pass us that bottle will ya."

Wow I had forgotten about this Jethro Tull song....Good choice...Thanks

Another half decent one from Tull is 'Jack Frost and the Hooded Crow.' This was a track that never made the final cut of their 'Broadsword and the Beast' album of 1982. It's interesting and well worth a listen. Tull have, in fact, released several Christmas tracks over the years. 'Ring Out Solstice Bells' from the 1976 album 'Songs From the Wood' for instance. They've also used 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen' as a kind of amusing interlude during live shows for decades. In 2003 they released a Christmas Album. Unfortunately, it is filled, for the most part, with previously released material. Even though these songs were re-recorded for the album it was all a bit flat. An album for Tull stalwarts, like myself, only.

This is gonna be WAY out there.....Old Toy Trains by Nana Mouskouri. That lady has such a beautiful voice.

Drifting back to the topic...John Lennon - So this is Christmas. Makes me cry every time I really listen to it.

Greg Lake wrote a good one, I Believe in Father Christmas.
