Classic Rock Fan Community: Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Doors & More

Yes, I know, most of us on here live and breathe classic rock. And most of today's music certainly doesn't really do it for us. But there are some exceptions - there are still some musicians that put out great work that is inspired by classic rock. One of my favorite newer rock albums like this is Ben Harper's new album, with his new band, the Relentless 7. Its called White Lies for Dark Times. And its definitely worth a listen - its got some blues/classic rock influence in it.

I am curious to know other new albums that people on here love that seem to be inspired to classic rock. Post away - i'm sure everyone will be interested to know!

My choice will be Robben Ford - Keep On Running

Features some blistering yet tasteful guitar work,
with interesting arrangements, inspired solos, and crisp, clean production that lets the song shine through the players.
Here is a beautiful and reverent version of "Badge" by Eric Clapton and Ford's former boss George Harrison as a tribute to the late guitarist.
A funky read of the Al Perkins/Otis Rush jam "Homework".
And my favourite from the album , a midnight broken-hearted blues of "Bonnie".
I've got most of Robben's catalog. You've got good taste!
Joe Bonamassa's pretty hot. The Atomic Bitchwax plays some pretty heavy stoner rock reminiscent of early seventies styles.

My own band Mrs. Henry is a pretty rocking new band. We love The Band, we love Led Zeppelin, we love the blues.
