I think they also had a small problem in that they weren't really promoted by their record company...MOTOWN considered them a "lesser" act I think...

I have often tried to reason out why they are so unknown so to speak. The only thing I can come up with is that in spite of the fact of how good they were, they were essentially a cover band. They wrote very little and mostly their signature songs are all covers.

One of my favorite bands in the early 70's..for some reason never saw them live..I think I still have some 8-tracks of them.

Too bad they're forgotten now...they were very good for a long time!
