BRIAN MAY OF QUEEN condems THE VOICE

Well he does not condemn the voice really. He is upset about the blind auditions part of the show. He thinks it is disrespectful of the team leaders to listen with their backs turned. I don't know if I agree with him. I think that what they are looking for is a voice without being guided by what the person looks like and what he/she does other than sing. He may be a astrophysicist with a great and noble position in the field, and he may be a great rocker, but I think you're not getting the point here Brian.

I agree 100%...here in Germany, The Voice is the only casting show I will (waste) time on, because the artists there actually have talent. Many of them unfortunately have faces or bodies that would never make it in any other casting show, and would probably not have a chance to begin with if they were seen. Most of them have more talent than any 10 main-stream artists of today all together. In my opinion, the blind auditions are perfect to find out who can do what they are supposed to do as an entertainer, regardless of their looks!
