When i was younger my mom loved supertramp so that started my love for their music and when i met my fiance 6 years ago he loved supertramp as well and i hold very good memories of listening to supertramp music.my fiance lost his battle with cancer in april 2011 so now supertramp's music is very precious to me.
My favorite song written by Roger is A Soapbox Opera!
Even in the Quietest Moments. It changes what was a life headed in the wrong direction.
Very difficult choice. :)
If I really had to pick, Child of Vision. That song is from heaven! :)
All you have to do is see Roger once & you will be forever changed... you'll find yourself dreaming of his next show & even the one after that! Very few artists have an unchanged voice after all these years, and I promise you Roger *never* disappoints. He is the genius behind the many hits of Supertramp and this is the Breakfast In America World Tour with a full band! The audience will soon become your friends, sharing in all of the joy and the beautiful, ethereal music. Just imagine him, with his twelve-string guitar... "Even in the quietest moments, I wish I knew..." From one heart to another, go see him. You will leave glowing from the inside, your soul uplifted & a guaranteed smile on your face. :) "You find your way," & "I'll meet you when you're there!" :)

...I had the pleasure of getting to see him live twice, the first time, with Supertramp in 1983 on the Famous Last Words Tour and then solo around 10 years ago or so...absolutely unforgettable...
My favorite Roger-song (a tough choice) is probably "Even in the quietest moments". I've got the album when I was really really ill and had to stay in bed for several weeks, unable to do much - except listening to music and reading books. The title track fascinated me immediately with its beautiful intro (clarinet and 12-string-guitar) and Roger's poetic lyrics and sensitive voice. »There's a lot of me got to go under before I get high«, that's the way I felt in those days ...
Mine is "The Logical Song" :) <3 it!
Give a Little Bit
I was always a big Supertramp fan and I've seen Roger played in his solo concerts in Waukesha, WI in the early 2000's. With Supertramp, I liked "The Logical Song", "Even In The Quietest Moments", and "Fools Overture". I have all the Supertramp and his solo albums (or CDs).
My family song is 'Dreamer' - we all get up and dance and wave our arms around etc. at get-togethers, weddings and even funerals.
Then, our almost 2 years old grand-daughter Elizabeth is nicknamed 'Little Bit' so 'Give a little bit' is now her song!!!!
