Introduction

Greetings fellow classic rockers!

My name is Terry and I just found this site today; lots of good stuff on here and I look forward to becoming more involved on the site. 

A little about me - I'm a native California gal, spent my weekends at the beach surfing and just being in the ocean any way I could.  That was when I was 16 and for the approximately 8 years following.  My dad is a very protective type and really didn't want me listening to rock and roll at that time, but I guess the Beach Boys were okay! ha

Then I got married to a wonderful guy that was the love of my life and wow.... a major explosion of rock and roll that I had no idea existed! ha  He was a serious Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath fan, and also introduced me to Supertramp - he proposed to me while playing Give a Little Bit.  From that moment on, I was forever a Supertramp/Roger Hodgson fan and have followed him every since.  He's going to be playing in my area on August 12th and I've got tickets in the 2nd row--can't wait.

The love of my life, Todd, passed away last July and 30 wonderful years of marriage, so now having gone through almost a year of grief counseling and wonderful family support, I'm now living at the beach and feeling like I'm in my 20's again. 

I'm fortunate enough to work remotely at home and have great friends and family close by.  Here's comes a little plug...... my nephew is in a rock/blues band originating in San Francisco and they are awesome - check out The Stone Foxes -- they are touring the US most of the year, but did just complete recording of their 2nd LP a couple weeks ago.  Not sure if it's cool for me to upload or direct you to a youtube location so you can hear them.  But it won't be the last you hear of them!  They have a website at thestonefoxes.com and are on facebook, etc. 

Yeah, I'm a proud Aunty and am fortunate to have such a great talented nephew.  Most of my family are in the music industry in one way or the other - gotta love it!

Wow, I kind of got carried away.  Anyway, glad to be a part of this site!
