Good idea!  How about favorite Canadian bands and artists?

The Band--"Saw them'" at the Summer Jam @ Watkens Glen July 28, 1973..I got there the Friday before, but so did about half of the 600,000 that got there for the day that Saturday. By the time I got there I was far away from the stage.

Robbie Robertson, on the list of my all time fave Gutiarists.

Joni Mitchell-I saw her with the L A Express at Tanglewood in Lenox, Mass, around 1971-

Ian and Sylvia-Ian Tyson wrote "Four Strong Winds" That Neil Young and The Band do on '"The Last W altz " Box Set

Neil Young-I saw him when he was with Buffalo Springfield in my birthplace, Hartford, CT..Also in The Springfielfd-Stephen Stills, Richie Furey.

Rush-Stil on my must see list

1-Phish

2-Allman Bros Band--with Duane Allman

3-Grateful Dead

4-Eagles, With Randy Meisner.Origional members. Without Joe Walsh

5-Little Feat With Lowell George.

I've seen each of these groups, with their origional personell, live.

FYI-Jackson Browne, helped to write "Take it Easy."; as well as writing the song " Of Missing Persons." In memory of Lowell George, when he passed away.

Of course, I just saw Phish 3 years ago.

How about a list  of  your favorite bands, or artists; all countries, that you've seen live?

Extra credit if they were with their origional personell.

MC5

Aerosmith

Tom Petty & Heartbreakers

Bob Segar & Silver Bullet Band

Z Z Top

In no particular order of preference:

1. Allman Bros.
2. The Doors
3. Dylan
4. CSN & Y
5. Hendrix

I'm okay with the Ramones, but Nirvana and Metallica are way overrated. Also, Springsteen is a solo artist unless the E Street Band is included.

Here's my five:

1)  The Allman Brothers

2)  Creedence Clearwater Revival

3)  Little Feat

4)  The Byrds

5)  Grateful Dead
