Manufactured on 180-gram, audiophile quality vinyl with replicated artwork, the 14 albums return to their original glory with details including the poster in The Beatles (The White Album), the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band's cut-outs, and special inner bags for some of the titles. Each album is accompanied by a 252-page hardbound book.

Although I'm a fan of the Beatles, I'm wondering if this is worth the money!

Linda I waited to see if indeed the quality of this box set had improved..according to reviews from buyers posted on Amazon it hasn't at all. For the price of $319 I can't see dropping that kind of money on something that most likely I'd be disappointed in..you know what I mean. Looks to be EMI/Capitol chosed the wrong pressing company for their quality control dropped the ball on this one. Which is a shame because this could of been a great collectors set to hold onto..heard a mono box set is out..hmmmm.

I have all The Beatles U.K. albums on vinyl anyway, and I have taken care of them, I have all their compilation albums on vinyl as well, so I wouldn't want to buy them again. If you have a good turntable and cartridge and turntable, your records won't get scratched. As for Mono a friend of mine gave me a few American Beatles albums on CDs which contain both the Mono and Stereo versions of the albums.
