Jim Morrison, Poet?

Last week Daniel Nester’s essay ("When You're Strange") on whether Jim Morrison was a great American poet or not has been going around the internet, and while I thought it was going to lead to the usual conclusion, that Jim Morrison’s pretensions at being a poet were greater than his ability, it didn‘t, but it still instilled in me the urge for a response.

What Has Been Your Best Music Find?

So What Has Been Your Best Music Find?   I've had a few,...I stumbled into a junk shop where they had a bunch of old albums for sale. And I found a Mint copy of Jimi Hendrix's Smash Hits with the poster still inside of it,the poster has Jimi,Mitch and Noel dressed like cowboys on horseback. Also I found an album of Santana's Abraxis with the poster still in it as well...and I got them for a dollar....which I thought was cool as hell...
