Classic Rock Fan Community: Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Doors & More

Been playin' bass guitar for several years. Decided to take a break for a while, and got talked into playin' again this last year. Joined Johnny & The Crashers, and had a blast playin' Classic Rock & Blues for almost all of 2008.

Just after the first of the year, Liam (our singer) moved out of state. This pretty much ended the band, as Johnny decided there's virtually (in so many words) "No Life After Liam" for the band.

Johnny & Masa both have other activities they enjoy, so they've moved on. I wasn't so lucky, so, one year (and around $3,000.00 later) I'm back to the "Band Challenged" category. IT SUX!!!!!

I haven't given up though. Been puttin' the word out. Hopin' to find a new band to jam with this year.

I'm in the Roswell, New Mexico area, and kinda locked in with a day job. Which makes it difficult to find new talent, but I'm NOT giving up!!!!

Well, much to my surprise (and enjoyment), Liam has been able to "pop into town" a few times since he moved away. As a result, we've managed to snag a couple of "surprise" gigs. Had a total blast at each one. Sure was good to see all the familiar faces, as well as to be able to play in public again.
Another note on the "up-side". Johnny has also realised that it would be good for us to continue on with our music.
One of three things can happen.

Liam may return one day, to a band with even more music to perform.
A replacement musician/vocalist may come along.
Our song list will grow to the point that we can still perform as a 3 piece.

Whatever happens, it's all good to me.

I DO love to play.
