Record Store Day in the U.K.! Last week the Record Store Day website announced the release of an “L.A. Woman” 7 inch vinyl boxed set, today U.K. participating announced their Record Store Day featuring release as in the U.S.

The information for The Doors “L.A. Woman” 7 inch vinyl boxed set is the same as the U.S. The Doors Record Store Day release is a 7inch vinyl box set that will include the songs “The Changeling,” “Love Her Madly,” “Riders on the Storm,” each record will include an alternate take of the song on the flip side, and a fourth single that will include studio banter amongst the band members as they work out the songs "Crawling King Snake," and "Riders on the Storm." The boxed sets will be a limited edition and each will be numbered. This release will start “the year of The Doors” (see related article below) in which 40th anniversary CD’s of L.A. Woman will be released as will the newly discovered London Fog tapes, and the Matrix shows later in the year.
