1965 – The Animals enter the British charts for the first time with “We Gotta Get Outta of This Place”
1972 – Drummer Bobby Ramirez, 23, of White Trash is killed in a bar brawl in Chicago.
1978 – Robert Stigwoods film “Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band” opens in NYC. Staring Peter Frampton as Billy Shears and the Bee Gees as the Henderson Brothers. With musical performances by Aerosmith, Alice Cooper and Earth Wind and Fire give the soundtrack some spice, but the movie is a box office flop.
