I was in awe when I got to work with John on Ringo's first 2 solo albums.

Well Galen I'm in awe aweready. If I had been involved in those records thats all I would ever talk about! cool deal!

Nice share here Barry and some great tunes. btw - 1st time I have heard the bootleg Outtakes. Bookmarked !  Galen you must have some great memories and sounds like a fab experience working with John and Ringo. Would love to hear more about it and I am sure everyone else would also :)

Thanks. I have good memories. I remember how much John disliked Paul at the time. I have some photos with John, you can see them here behindtheboard.net . I worked on Ringo's albums at Producers Workshop and Sunset Sound in Hollywood. Cheers!

galen I would have that pic on my wall....Thinking poster size.....Was sad when paul and john had issues.

I have it on my wall lol, it was taken at Sunset Sound when we working on Ringo's "Good Night Vienna" album.

Galen so interesting. Who was the easiest to work with?

Ringo, he was like a puppy who liked to play backgammon. He would always say "I'm just a fucking personally you know".

lmao, Ringo was probably the smartest one. Kept things real and continued to reap the benefits. I always saw Paul as ego maniac and John as someone that wanted things his way. Still loved them both regardless ;) As years went on I felt Paul had mellowed a bit and turned into a pretty down to earth guy..  Sad we lost John. Tragic loss for the world..
