Classic Rock Fan Community: Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Doors & More

This weeks classic rock 'gem' of the week is a real treat by the Doors that doesn't seem to get the airtime or credit that it deserves - 'You Make Me Real' sees Jim Morrison at his infectious song writing best.

From their 1970 fifth studio album 'Morrison Hotel', this funky upbeat Doors song has the perfect combination of Ray Manzarek's groovy organ loops overlayed with Robbie Krieger's great finger work on guitar. Jim Morrison's wild screams and infectious lyrics make you just wonder which one of his girls this was written about!

Below is a great live version of the song, complete with trippy 70's video. 'You Make Me Real' is definitely worth listening to if you haven't heard it before (and worth a good relisten!)
