How the feel of a band effect classic rock photography

It's very interesting shooting so many classic rock bands and comparing the photos. There may be a band that puts on an absolutely thrilling concert like Pink Floyd, but the photos are no where near that of the Rolling Stones or The Who. It's just the type of show that the band decided to put on. Aerosmith photos are going to be a lot more fun to look at than Eric Clapton photos. That's why I always try to capture the essence of a show. For Pink Floyd I want to make sure to get shots of the laser shows and thrilling videos. For the stones I want to get Mick doing his thing playing with crowd. Each show has a different identity, and the best thing in my opinion is to shoot the show to that identity. The Stones will be up soon and the there will be a big addition of Floyd and Who photos soon!
