Classic Rock Fan Community: Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Doors & More

I'm a bedroom guitarist on a modest budget and I can't afford to mod a 1959 Marshall SLP or a Les Paul to get the sound right.

I'm using a Blackstar HT-5 combo and a Mexican Strat equipped with Eric Johnson strat pickups.

I tried a Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker, but it didn't sound right at all. Not very bluesy or Zeppelin-like. My amp's drive channel isn't doing the right thing, even with the right amount of gain. Anyone got suggestions?

I've got a Blackstar HT-5. I can get real tube sound at bedroom volumes. I just need to know what effects to chain to make my drive sound like Jimmy Page's.
