Great news if you are a Beatles fan... footage of The Beatles first ever concert in 1964 was recently discovered and is being released as a film in May.
The entire show at the Washington Colosseum was captured on film, along with events leading up to and following their fantastic 12-song set – but hasn’t been seen in public since. Now thanksfully its been rediscovered and forms the main part of the new documentary film, The Beatles: The Lost Concert.
Its producers say: “The Beatles: The Lost Concertis a new documentary recounting the whole story of the birth of Beatlemania in America, from an initial phone call from US promoter Sid Bernstein to the manager of a then-unknown band from the UK, all the way thorough to their first-ever historic and triumphant US concert.”
See below for the trailer for this, where you will see Steven Tyler declaring its the best concert he has ever seen! Should be fantastic!
