Hi...
In 1998, all of the major members of Fleetwood Mac, EXCEPT Bob Welch, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Bob joined the group at it's lowest point, when Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer left the group and they were in a quandary at to what direction to take their music.
Enter Bob Welch.
Bob was with the group for five albums and helped create the blueprint for the band's eventual superstar success. The last two albums he played on charted inside the US top fifty album chart and "Heroes Are Hard to Find" reached #34. Bob was responsible for their version of "Sentimental Lady" and "Hypnotized." Bob, by all rights and means, deserved to be inducted, but was not.
There is a movement to assist Bob and Bob's wife to try and get Bob inducted posthumously.
