Rolling Stone Magazine posted another "greatest all time list" which I think I could shoot holes through more easily than hitting a bulls-eye at point blank range. Is it me, or has Rolling Stone (and The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame lost all relevance and any clue as to what Rock. and subsequently Rock & Roll are?
I authored this article, and welcome feedback in the comment section of the blog post. Pretty disappointing that Rolling Stone has lost touch with the term 'Rock'. I understand they need to cover many genres, but leave Rock in tact as its own entity.
Check out the article.

Good story. I went to the Hall about a year after it opened, and mainly remembering that being able to hear umpty-nine outttakes of "Whipping Post" didn't do much for me. :-)
Anyway, yeah, "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" has become a misnomer. It's really the "American Museum of Popular Music," but that name just doesn't have the same zip, and that's the problem: The Hall doesn't have the same zip, either.
