Im not a big Beatles fan but i do enjoy John Lennons work on the Phil Spector "Rock n Roll" LP

 

The cover is classic "Leather Jackets take Hamburg" and the outstanding tracks for me is Chuck Berry's "You can't catch me" and "Bony Moronie" 

John has never had so much fun.

John Lennon was an old rocker at heart.

As for a Beatles cover,well Day Tripper by Oasis is worth a listen.

Motley Crue's Helter Skelter and Aerosmith's Come Together and I'm Down are all good, Type O Negative's medley including Day Tripper, If I Needed Someone and I Want You is interesting
