jimi hendrix deathAs Classic Rock magazine reveals last month, the death of Jimi Hendrix was not only untimely, but more and more people are now also believing it to be unjust, with perhaps a more sinister reason for his death - and the possibility of murder conspired by his manager.

Let me briefly summarize the story surrounding his death and see what you all think. It was December 18th 1970 and Jimi Hendrix was staying in London with his new girlfriend at the time, Monika Dannemann, and had taken too many sleeping pills, and also had drunk more than usual. And just before this, Jimi Hendrix' career had been faltering - too many erratic displays from the sublime to the subpar - and combine that with a very expensive recording habits, putting his manager, Mike Jeffery in serious finanicial trouble.

So when Jimi Hendrix was rushed to hospital, mysteriously 2 hours after his girlfriend found him unconcious (why the very long wait to call the ambulance?), and later announced dead from choking on his vomit, many are now putting two and two together. Indeed, a former Animals "roadie," James "Tappy" Wright, published a book in May 2009 claiming Hendrix's manager, Mike Jeffery, admitted to him that he had Hendrix killed because the rock star wanted to end his management contract. And to make matters even stranger, the girlfriend that found was with him when he died 'committed suicide'. Does anyone else have any thoughts or insights into this mysterious death of Jimi Hendrix?

I also read about this Rich. If it's true - and it sounds plausible - it's totally heartbreaking.

The doc who did the autopsy said Jimi was covered in red wine. It's possible he was held down by hired thugs who forced pills and wine into him.

I can't think about this gentle, gifted man being killed that.
Please do not take this the wrong way but Jimi's date of death was September 18th,1970
oh yeah definitely that was way it went down I feel m j knew jimi was searching for a new manager and was not going to back to him also most people do not know this but in last 9 months of his life M.J> was paying Devon Wilson money and heroin to keep tabs on him and report back to him who he was talking to and what the conversations entailed Now when he died according to the coroner's finding he hardly had any alcohol in his blood as well enough of the Vesparex(german sleeping tablets) to kill him my conclusion is wine was poured down his throat being held down by M.J.'s people til he suffocated... as far as Monika Dannemann I beleive she knew everything but some reason after M.J's death never came foward

now Michael Jefferey knew he could control Al Hendrix with a yearly stipend of $50,000.00 which he did
he also knew Al was near destitute and that way he could all the rights to Jimi's likeness and musicNow here is where it gets real

for this to be legal this contract went like this

Michael Jefferey's lawyer was Henry Steingarten

Al hHendrix's lawyer was Leo Branton

Now what is strange about this those two lawyers were partners in the same lawfirm of Branton and Steingarten

the result to all this with those involved

Devon Wilson(suicide was ruled) i FEEL SHE was pushed out a NYC apt building (HIGHRISE)window

Michael Jefferey was killed in an airplane crash(as far as any identifiable remain (that I do not know if it was ever determined)

Monika Dannemann comitted suicide
That is so true it is sad and why people to this day will not acknowledge that fact is amazing to me
Earlier this year I read a book that I highly recommend in which a lady communicates with the deceased and she talks to Jim Morrison and many others and one of them is Jimi Hendrix and he talks about his death and what was going to happen if he would have lived one more year. You may find this quite fascinating "Conversations with Jim Morrison and Other Rock Legends: Featuring Michael Hutchence, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix and Sid Vicious by Jacqueline Murray"
here is a link where you can read about it on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1439222754/ref=oss_product
It answers a great deal of questions that have been expressed here.
Kind regards,
