Good Jimmy Page interview here talking about his life as a guitarist.
I am moving to a smaller home and have to sell many of my autographed guitars including this Fender bass guitar that John Paul Jones signed about ten years ago (I have worked in the TV & Music industries and have gotten to meet hundreds of rock luminaries). Yes, I have led a charmed life!
John was interviewed by VH1 Classic and signed a couple of these for the President of the network who, luckily for me, is a good friend. You can see the guitar here (if for some reason the link…

Sept 25th 1980, John Bonham, drummer with Led Zeppelin, died aged 32 after a heavy drinking session. ‘Bonzo’ was found dead at guitarists Jimmy Page's house of what was described as asphyxiation, after inhaling his own vomit after excessive vodka consumption, (40 shots in 4 hours). During live sets his drum solo, ‘Moby Dick,’ would often last for half an hour and regularly featured his use of his bare hands.
24th Sept 1972, 'Led Zeppelin IV' was on the UK album chart. The 19th century rustic oil painting on the front of the album was purchased from an antique shop in Reading, Berkshire, England by Robert Plant.
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.
Thank you LZ
It's always been hard for me to name a "favorite" classic rock band. I won't definitively say Zeppelin is my favorite, but damn, these guys were just something else. Being able to photograph them and interact with them in their prime was something I will never forget. They are extraordinary. Here's the LZ link and there are more coming becasue as everyone knows, you can never get enough Led
