"Lottery of Life" Reviews

Perth's Hailmary have already had a
taste of succsess in the west, having taken
home a WAMI for 2006 Song Of The Year
in the Hard Rock/Metal category. And on
the stregth of this 5 track monster its
easy to see why. Straight ahead, driving
hard rock is what these guys do and
they do it with all the flair, bombast and
enthuisiasm of the bands they admire.
It aint subtle. It powers along with the
grunt and grown of a freight train, and
vocalist Kevin Curran has the perfect
voice for this sorta thing. If your a fan
of early Soundgarden and dream for the
days when guitars full of overdrive were
still cool, grab this baby now

Hailmary are a 4-piece band hailing (ahhh, see what I did there!) from Perth. They have been touring around the Perth circuit since 2006, winning awards such as the WAMI Song of the Year in Hard Rock/Metal. Lottery of Life is the band’s first release, and as an EP features 5 songs, with a run-time of 22 minutes.
