The rock and roll hall of crap. That has been a topic here before. What a joke they are. Public Enemy and Madonna are in, yet great bands like this are not. It's more like Rolling Stone Magazines Hall of Fame. They suck.

OK - My first love is southern rock. I think Toy Caldwell from Marshall Tucker was one of the greatest southern rock guitarists ever.

Toy (lead guitar) picks with his THUMB ONLY and no pick!!!!  So does brother Tommy on bass.

This is one of my favorite MTB tunes and really showcases Toy on lead guitar. Make sure to watch the jam - his thumb works so fast it is almost a blur.

Sadly Tommy (bass) died in 1980 after a jeep accident and Toy (lead guitar) died in 1994.

If I am ever in spartanburg sc, I will visit their graves to pay my respects. Like them that much!!

Got to work them center stage security one time right after Tommy passed.
