Metallica (classic rockers)

I chose Metallica as my favorite classic rock band. I mean I love sabbath, led zep, Beatles, Etc. but I want to know if anyone thinks of Metallica being classic? They've been around for 25+yrs. so?

Hey Trey, I think at least here at CRN the term "Classic Rock" is more of a genre than a reference to seniority. I suggest you read the disscussion "The True Definition Of Classic Rock". You should be able to find it on the right side of the page under Featured CRN Content! Sorry though in my own opinion they are not classic rock. Nothing against Metallica but I guess they are simply enough Heavy Metal.If they are your favorite band it doesn't matter if they're Classic Rock or not. Feel free to share your Metallica material here as far as I am concerned. Hey they covered Bob Segar!

Hey barrytheb. I hear ya. Black Sabbath would be my favorite "classic rock" and without Sabbath there would be no Metallica. I love all music as long as its rock. But yeah I'm still brand new to the site. I'm finding my way around. Thanks for the reply! (((METALLICA))) RULES!! HaHa, later bro.
