Hi all,
I would like to ask some advice from the community here, I recently came across a "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" LP, original from 1967 portuguese pressing, I talked with the guy that is selling it and he's willing to sell it for 25 Euros (something like 36 US Dollars) the guy told me the back cover has a very small signature on the back and a very slight rip on the cardboard other than that it's good - the Vinyl however it's in a very good condition - I know how much the Pepper's is worth in a good condition so my question is, do you think it's a fair price given the observations on the cover?
Thanks
David

I think its not a bad price if its the first pressing and the vinyl sounds the way it has to be. Btw I have been looking for this pressing you're talking about and I can't find it.
I suggest you a website with a lot of information about vinyls, pressings, prices etc: http://www.discogs.com/
I looked in this website and many others for your pressing and I didnt find it

Not saying it doesnt exist LOL but is strange I couldn't find it.
Cheers and good luck with it
Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I had already searched for it on Discogs before but it's not available, The Beatles records were distributed in Portugal by EMI. I do think the price is a good one, I was just doubting about the signature and rip thing.I will let you know in one week when I'll meet the guy for the trading. Thanks
I think this fact is like "personal" you know. For example I have some vinyls with signatures or some rips too and I dont care about it if the vinyl is in a good condition buuut I am sure there are a lot of ppl who want the vinyl, sleeve and box and everything in a good condition you know. I mean I wouldnt buy a vinyl with the box or sleeve totally broken but you know what I mean :)
I think it also says the reason you want your vinyls you know. I dont care if some of my vinyls have any detail in the box or back or whatever (well depends of what kind of details but thats another thing LOL). I want my vinyls for me, not for selling or whatever so I want my vinyl in a good condition, sleeve or box are not the most important thing for me.
Sooo if you want your vinyls for yourself to listen and collect like I do, its a good price. If you dont buy it, man send me that guy email or whatever LOL :)
