I just commented on the wall saying the same thing, but I was wondering if anyone had heard Ray Manzarek's new album? He just collaborated with slide guitar player Roy Rogers on an album called "Translucent Blues". I bought it and it is incredible! And it came with a signed laminate. I was hoping to discuss it with fellow listeners.
PS. I bought it off their website if you are interested

I heard it! Personally I think it is a really great combination of classic rock undertones with some great jazz and blues influences. I highly recommend. And you're right, all this technology is killing the joy of the classic record store! By the way, any word on tour dates?
Hi Robert,
I write The Doors Examiner if you're looking for Manzarek-Rogers Band tour info at Manzarek-Rogers Winter Tour so far it's only a few dates in Oct and Dec more info as it happens! He'll also be playing with Robby in October.
Best!

Hi Hannah,
I heard the album too and liked it, very bluesy and I like the stuff written by Jim Carroll. It was also cool that Ray and Roy pretty much alternated tracks.
