Very tough and I can't really nail one down, so here are some of my faves :
Unleashed In The East - Judas Priest
Live In The Heart Of The City - Whitesnake
No Sleep 'Till Hammersmith - Motörhead
Live - Status Quo
Made In Japan - Deep Purple
At Budokan - Cheap Trick
Well....I like
Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii
Johnny Cash - Live at Folsom Prison (Not really Classic Rock, but also damn good!)
Bob Dylan - Live at Budokan
Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same
No one mentioned J.Geils Band???...Full House is still considered one the best live albums to be recorded.
Now you are talking!!
a big fan of J.Geils here
i was lucky enough to catch them live in the 70s in london
the most enjoyable concert i have ever attended
pity there is no live footage of the Geils at that time
i could only find the rockpalast dvd
but all their good stuff where left out from that concert
Allman Brothers "At the Fillmore" '71 is one of the best
Moody Blues at Red Rock
Nirvana - Unplugged
The Who - Live at Leeds
Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Live Rust
I know it's not a live album but Neil Young and Pearl Jam at the '93 MTV music awards doing "Rockin' in the Free World" is a jam not to be missed.
