I'm a Van Halen Fan....But I think Eddie Van Halen had his time.....And my favorite Van Halen Album is "FAIR WARNING"

Thanks Amstell13 for your reply.....I've heard a few Van Halen Bootlegs were Eddie tried to play some cover songs,And you got a point there......There are so many Great Guitarist and Great Guitar Techniques out there....And EVH is just one of many.....Thanks for your comment Brother....

Oh my god!  I've just watched this vid on UTube and must say - whatever you think he has, it must be fading fast if his playing has made you even think about asking that question!  I agree with Amstell about his finger tapping technique, all this fast twiddly twiddly stuff just dosn't impress me at all, and as you can see from the vid, it dosn't take long for his fingers to start seizing up which has got to affect the quality (and I say that lightly) of his playing.  I think if he played just a touch slower, no it wouldn't be as fast, but It would definately sound better and would give him a few more years before Arthritis set's in; if it hasn't already!

LOL...I hear ya Linda.....It's like I said He had his time and now there are so many others who are now showing off their guitar skills......

I got tickets to see VAN HALEN in concert in San Antonio Texas in June....I'm a fan and wating to see them play the old tunes.....I've heard some of the tracks of the New VAN HALEN Album and I didn't think it is all that...you know what I mean.....Linda thanks for your imput....
