Indeed! How amazing it would have been to have gone to Woodstock! I am actually going to do an anniversary discussion on this, lots of great videos too - so look for that in August!

My wife and I are going to celebrate the Woodstock 40th Anniversary by going to West Fest. West Fest is a celebration of the 40th anniversary of Woodstock being held in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco on October 25th. I was not at the 1969 Woodstock but I did make it to the 1994 Woodstock in Saugerties, NY.

If any of you are going to attend West Fest, I invite you to join the West Fest Group at The Way Back Machine. I created the West Fest Group for those of us that will be attending the event, so that we could meet and discuss the event and maybe meet up at Golden Gate Park on the 25th.

There will be a gathering of 3000 guitarists at West Fest to set a world record for the most guitarists playing Purple Haze at one time. That will be amazing to see.
