1963 the BEATLES and George Martin go into Abbey Road Studios and record the 10 other takes for Please Please Me - all done in one day - 1964 first US concert in Wahington Dc.

Shirley Hubbert said… Hello everyone! I've been a classic rock fan since I was old enough to listen to it! Love most of the bands..Beatles: Stones; Cream; Yardbirds; Led Zeppelin; Doors: Pink Floyd!! I remember listening to KRLA & KHJ in the early to mid 60s (the days before KMET). Everytime the Beatles and Stones had a new hit single it was played over & over and was a big deal!!Other groups too had big hits at the same time. It was an awesome time to hear all the good latest music!

- Yes, I did see Paul, did you? I don't normally watch the Grammy's. Not my cuppa. But I knew Paul was going to be on so I watched. I loved how other musicians acknowledged him. That was great!

As for the weather, it's improving! It was georgeous today, sunny and in the 40's. Supposed to be more of the same tomorrow and close to 60 on Wednesday! Woo-hoo. Spring is right around the corner. does snoopy dance>>>> LOL.
