The Hendrix cover is epic. Considering the story behind it, the first time he actually "dared" to play the song If I am not mistaken, only one day after the "Sgt.Peppers" album was released, very few people were familiar with the song yet, he learned all the notes in hours without any need of a tab guide.

Might not be the best Beatles cover in my opinion, but surely is the most legendary one

Ironic that Elvis did a cover considering his earlier meetings with the Beatles. The Sinatra version of Something is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Hendrix one is great.

Great list!  I also love Ozzy Osbourne's cover of John Lennon's "How".
