David,

I always felt sorry for Ray, Robby & John during publicity photos because for the most part they had to stand still and look away from the camera while Jim could do whatever he wanted!

Actually I think they weren't too interested in doing crazy stuff to the photos, i think was mostly their attitude and not being forced to stay still. I do have a few pics where they're goofing . Jim was obviously the "wild one", the main focus of the photographers, you find quite a lot solo photo sessions of Jim but very few of the other members.

That's true, I always think of the Joel Brodsky 1st album photos, I think it was in Ray's Light My Fire where Ray said they had to wear these black ponchos and only move a little while Jim could move.
