I'm from Juliette, Ga. close to where the bros. had a farm and not to far from where Wet Willie used to have a house. You old hippies don't know how lucky you are.

The brothers keep playing strong but the last time I saw Dicky he and his band with son at hand was at the best I have seen him since the brother brake up. Chili, you are most right Fillmore East is the Greatest Live Album of All Times but I am so loving the fresh slide work of D. Trucks on Peakin' at the Beacon. Their is no doubt they are still the best live act out there and all of the Brothers family bands.

Love the brothers, have been going to NYC for the Peakin at the Beacon shows since 1997 and have been going to boston shows since the early 80's. Best trip to see the brothers was Red Rocks in Colorado - BEST venue I've ever been to.

Whipping Post has ALWAYS been my fave. I could only imagine how great they could have been without the passing of Duane Allman. He's gone, but not forgotten!
