2. British Rock Meeting in Germany - May 1972 in Germersheim - with a gr8 WOODSTOCK FEELING
Hello to all music lovers - i am searching for people who where at the festival, i remember there also where a lot of GI's. would be gr8 to exchange good memories.
the festival started on a long weekend on friday, ended on monday - the highlight for me was PINK FLOYD !!!
i still have some old pictures from that festival, if interested for exchange, pls let me know.

Are whole group of over 30 were Trippin' on various types of acid that we brought with us and smokin' big bowls of Gold Seal Black Pakistan Hash. We had Cappy and Wine to quench our thirst. Some of the other guys had some gypsy green, chokin' red and some Blond Hash. I added this Festival poster to all the rest of my posters that I had on the walls and ceiling of my Room 215 back at the barracks of Rhineland Zoo Ettlingen 78th Engr. HHC. Anyone remember the mud slide and the German antique bikes the German Bike club were riding?

Hey Jerry Nelson,
You may have purchased that mescaline from me or one of my buddies. We were selling that and hash. People were streaming by or site the whole concert and a lot of them stopped by to get high and to get some product from us.
What a weekend.

I was there with 30 other GI's and a few German Girls. Pink Floyd was the high light. I also attended the 1st British Rock festival in Speyer Germany in 1971, Black Sabbath & deep purple headlined.

I was there too. One of the most awesome times of my life. I was also privileged to go to the 1st on with Black Sabbath headlining one night and Deep Purple the next. But Pink Floyd at the 2nd one was the best of all.
