Buddy Miles Express

Germersheim 1972

Upon the completion of Buddy’s 7th album “Chapter 7” the Buddy Miles Express left for Europe. I was the recording engineer on that album and I was invited to travel with them.

We set up base camp at the Manor recording studio outside  Oxford England. Every weekend we would travel to a festival and the Express would play. On May 21st we landed in Frankfurt Germany and were bussed to Germersheim for the British Rock festival. This picture was taken in front of the stage midset.
