Mia Culpa

Rather than sending a blanket email to everyone on this site, I painstakingly went through the more than 1000 members and identified 36 people who I thought, based on their profiles, would be interested in the new rock band project that I'm working on.

It appears that one (or more?) of those people felt I was spamming them. So to any/all of you who felt like my invitation was spam, I sincerely apologize. It certainly wasn't meant to be but if you felt it was spam, then it was spam.

Just really wanted to express my regret for offending you.

Look at the stadiums that continue to sell out when the classic bands play versus the newer bands. And look at the audience that packs the stadiums. It's all ages. Can't say that about Slipknot or some of these more recent bands that have "made it." I'm really hopeful that we can see the pendulum swing back towards the classics some more. I realize we won't REPLACE these newer sounds. That's ok. I just want a choice other than these "scream-o"bands.

And I hate to say it, but what happens when all the classic bands don't (or can't) tour anymore? Do people with a love for classic rock not get to go to live performances anymore?

That's really why I jumped onboard to help this band. I want them to succeed so my kids can go to stadiums and hear music in the classic genre.
