i just logged on here. The hardest thing for me on CRN is keeping up with latest replies.. I know nothing you can do about this. I can follow the responses in my emails. Today there are a lot of them.

Yeah I can see your point...The main reason I joined is because it seems like Classic Rock is being listened to and heralded by fewer and fewer people and I like connecting w/people who like it like I do...it seems like country music and hip hop are everywhere....yuk I hate them both!!

Boy is that the truth!!  All the younger people, I mean the ones 30 yrs old and younger listen to a bunch of crap (mostly anyway)!  It seems like they all sound the same the people called "music artists".  Nothing really original or new in my view!!

Yes very true.  Not a lot of talent out there. People seem to be settling for less. I feel the same about all the new movies.. Rarely see a good one these days.

Quicksilver Messenger Service. I had some live tracks on an old Filmore gig compendium: "Last Days of the Filmore". That LP is long gone and I'm trying to work out if this is from that gig.

I certainly had this album - god knows where it is now. The band had its moments, but my understanding is that herbally-driven run ins with the law disrupted its lineup. I don't think they really got their stuff together to write enough compelling songs for a good album; but live they could crank it up.
