Vocals/Piano: Freddie Mercury
Guitar: Carlos Santana
Bass: Les Claypool
Drums: John Henry Bonham
Manager: Peter Grant
I love the Bonham and Claypool combo, because of they're simaler sound and groove.
Freddie and Santana are great together as Tangerine71 said.
and Peter Grant was (in my opinion) the 5th member of Led Zeppelin, which says a lot.
I like my picks....
I probably went the wrong direction...I picked who I think are the top in their own realm...probably not even close to being able to work together!
Anyway...it would be interesting anyway!
My band is called the Kings.
The lead singer is Mick Jagger. The lead gituar is Pete Townshend. The bass is Paul McCartney. On drums Keith Moon. On keyboard Ray Manzarek. The Manager is Andrew Oldham.
Brian Epstein entered the ROCK and ROLL HALL of FAME IN 2014
Favorite rock voice Eric Burdon! Honourable mentions Paul Rogers, John Kay, Grace Slick, Robert Plant, Jim Morrison. Guitar Hendrix, Page close second. Honourable mentions Mike Bloomfield, Peter Green, Terry Kath, Paul Kossoff, Dave Gilmour, Duane Allman, Santana, Clapton, John Cipollina, Jorma Kaukonen. Drums John Henry Bonham. BASS JPJ writer of such riffs as Black Dog, and Good times bad times.honourable mentions Jack Bruce, Jack Casady, Cliff Burton. Keyboards Ray Manzarek, JPJ, Gregg Rollie, John Lord, Richard Wright. Peter Grant. Dream band Jimi Hendrix guitar and vocals, John Bonham, Cliff Burton Bass or perhaps more fitting John Paul Jones or Jack Casady who goes good with Hendrix but zeppelin rhythm section would probably be it for me plus JPJ does it all. Page is better songwriter than Hendrix but Hendrix is just too good and unique not to take. So Hendrix with zeppelin rhythm section would be it for me.
Drummer I had to vote "other"- where is John Densmore (The Doors)? I had to vote for John... the list of drummers is incomplete (IMHO).
Vocals: Plant, Guitar: terry Kath, Keyboards: Gregg Rollie, Bass: Peter Cetera, and drums: Bonham
ok, my singer would be Peter Gabriel because he is so vocally creative and extremely charasmatic. My guitarist is Jimmie Page; he's the man! Bass player, Chris Squire, his solo's have brought me to tears they were so beautiful. Drummer: simply the best ever, Neil Peart. Keyboards: this was tough but I went with Keith Emerson since he was very driven in his playing the couple of times I saw ELP. I picked Peter Grant just because.....I read once he was a great manager and I don't sweat this area.
Jon Lord, Jack Bruce, Robert Plant, Cozy Powell and Tony Iommi.
Gary Moore is pretty good too.
Vocals: Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin)/Drums: Neil Peart (Rush)/Bass: Geddy Lee (Rush)/Guitar: Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)
Though Ian Gillan; Jimi Hendrix; Chris Squire; Carl Palmer and Rick Wakeman are probably at the top of my list in their respective categories, I think that they would sound terrible together! Sometimes the best is not necessarily the best!
Singer Jim Morrison, Lead Guitar Eric Clapton, Bass Paul McCartney, Keyboards Steve Winwood and Drums Ringo Starr.
David Gilmour and Jimmy Page twin leads, John Entwhistle bass, Moon and Bonham percussion, Keith Emerson Keys. Joni Mitchell and Robert Plant on vocals.
Vocals - Paul Rodgers
Lead Guitar - Jimmy Page
Bass - Geddy Lee
Keyboards Kieth Emerson
Drums - Neil Peart
Vocals: The late great James Dewar of the Robin Trower Band
Guitar: David Gilmour
Guitar: Jimmy Page
Bass: Geddy Lee
Keyboards: Tom Scholz of Boston
Drums: Neil Peart
Manager: Me
Hey, it's MY fantasy band! LOL
Sorry, managed by Peter Grant. Anyone who can manage a band like Led Zeppelin and take them to the height that they got to can manage anything!
Well now, here is my selection, they'e not necessarily who I think are the best but I think they would make an interesting sound.

Lead Guitar: Eric Clapton
Guitar: Paul Kossoff
Bass: Jack Bruce
Drums: Ginger Baker
Keyboards: Rick Wakeman
