1956 – Elvis Presley made on of his earlier network television appearances on the Steve Allen Show.

1966 – “Three Nights in Tokyo”, a famous Beatles bootleg is recorded during three nights at Budokon Hall.

1967 – The Beatles Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band is leading the LP chart in both Britain and the U.S.

1968 – John Lennon publicly announces his love for Yoko Ono at the opening night of his first art exhibit in London.

1969 – Yoko Ono and her daughter Kyoko are injured in a auto accident in Scotland. All are quickly stitched at a nearby hospital.

1970 – Jimmi Hendrix begins his first recording session at his own Electric Lady Land Studios in NYC.

1973 – Jesus Christ Superstar closes in NYC. after 720 performances.

1975 – King Crimson records what is believed to be their last concert in NYC’s Central Park, release in the USA.

1976 – Peter Frampton falls offstage and cracks 2 ribs at a concert in Hartford, CT.
