1969 – Aretha Franklin is arrested for causing a “disturbance” in a Detroit parking loy. The singer pays a $50.00 fine and runs over a road sign on her way out of the police parking lot.

1969 – Gold Record awarded to Led Zeppelin for their debut album.

1977 – Stiff records releases Elvis Costello’s first album “My Aim Is True”

1979 – Little Richard quits Rock & Roll for religion .
