1967 – Pink Floyd’s first album “The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn” is released. Lead guitarist Syd Barrett wrote ten of the eleven tracks on it.

1974 – Joan Jett forms The Runaways, an all girl, jailbait band.

1975 – Stevie Wonder signs a $13 million deal with Motown Records, the biggest recording contract to a musician.
