What Makes a Classic. . .

Hello fellow C.R.A.S.s Fans,

Imagine my horror when I recently discovered that LA's "Oldies" station has expanded its playlists to include classic hits from the 1980's.

Now I'm well aware of time marching on, but really? Genres aside, are Tina Turner and Spandeau Ballet now in the same category as Elvis, Cream and Iron Butterfly?

Which brings me to our next question: How does one define "Classic" Rock? For me, even including the Sex Pistols is pushing it. I'd like to include anything post-1980 in the general "Rock and Roll" category, because I can't handle the truth.

But I'd like to hear from you - how do YOU define Classic Rock?
