1964 – A Rolling Stones concert in Belfast, Ireland is stopped by police just after twelve minutes into the show due to rioting fans.
1967 – Mick Jagger and Keith Richard are released from jail after spending a month behind bars for possession of dangerous drugs. Public outcry over their imprisonment succeeds in overturning Keith’s conviction completely, while Mick is given a condititional discharge.
1971 – James Taylor has the #1 record in the US with “You’ve Got a Friend” a Carol King song. Carol later releases it on her best selling “Tapestry”album.
1972 – Gold Record awarded to Chicago for “Chicago V”
