1967 – Philadelphia is named the #1 concert city in America.

1969 – Bob Dylan joins The Band on stage at the Mississippi River Festival at Southern Illinois University.

1971 – Bill Graham closes the Fillmore West in San Francisco.

1972 – 61 fans are arrested when The Rolling Stones perform in Washington, DC.

1976 – The Ramones make their British concert debut at the London Roundhouse.

1977 – Gary Valentine, bassist for and co-author of X Offender, quits Blondie citing “artistic integrity”.
